Holger Obenaus has spent fifteen years as a professional musician, video and music producer, composer and songwriter. Throughout his professional career, all of his work has been marked by his love for and fascination with the guitar. Though many films have been made about the artists who play exquisite guitars, no one has turned the spotlight onto the artisans who create them. We are living in the second golden age of guitar building, and Holger wanted to capture the moment and preserve the heritage of contemporary guitar building for future generations. GOURMET GUITARS™ - The Best Luthiers DVD Series was born out of this desire. Holger set out on a great adventure with his team at Sushi Overdrive Avantgarde Productions to create an audio-visual encyclopedia about the best guitar builders in the world.
