Andre LaFosse :
Andre plays a Totem guitar on the Michael Spalt feature of the Gourmet Guitars DVD Series

Andre LaFosse has spent over half his life charting the common ground between "live" and "electronic" music. As a guitarist, looper, producer, engineer, MIDI programmer, composer, and improviser, he's made an ongoing habit of upending expectations, questioning convention, and finding connections between wildly diverse elements.

Normalized
(2003)

Normalized is "Turntablist Guitar," a cutting-edge album of cut-up of funk, hip-hop, and glitchy left-field electronic music... that just happens to have been performed live, on a solo electric guitar, with no pre-recorded material, and no sounds other than those made by the bare hands of Andre LaFosse on steel strings.

Disruption
Theory (1999)

Disruption Theory explodes the preconception of what a "guitar album" is supposed to sound like. It drew strong praise from far outside the "guitar music" realm (including publications like Alternative Press, MOJO, Outburn and Expose'). It's still driven by lead guitar, framed by sweeping atmospherics and high-BPM beats. Six extended tracks from Andre LaFosse add up to nearly an hour of music.
